ICTAC 2014 Registration

The 11th International Colloquium on Theoretical Aspects of Computing (ICTAC 2014) will take place between 17-20 September 2014 in Bucharest, Romania. The registration and conference fee payments are operated through the University of Bucharest Alumni Association, which is an ICTAC 2014 organizing partner. The details are provided below.

Conference registration fees

Normal registration fee:

- Early registration - until 4 July 2014 - 1500 RON (approx. 350 EUR) 

- Late registration - after 4 July 2014 - 1800 RON (approx. 420 EUR)

Student registration fee:

- Early registration - until 4 July 2014 - 650 RON (approx. 150 EUR) 

- Late registration - after 4 July 2014 - 850 RON (approx. 200 EUR)

The normal registration fee covers: access to all the sessions of the conference, one copy of the proceedings, coffee breaks, welcome reception, and conference dinner. 

The student registration fee covers the same as above, except the conference dinner. Due to several requests, we offer the possibility for students to add also the conference dinner for an extra 200 RON. So, e.g. the early student registration fee including conference dinner would be 850 RON. Below you can find a separate link for student registration including the conference dinner.

The authors must register until 4th of July 2014 (the early registration deadline) in order to have their papers included in the conference proceedings. If you have problems to meet this deadline, send us an email.

Terms and conditions

By registering for ICTAC 2014, all participants agree to be bound by, and comply with, the terms and conditions described below.

Cancellation policy: In case of cancellation until 1st of August 2014, a cancellation fee of 30 euros plus additional refunding costs, will incur. After 1st of August 2014, no cancellation refund will be possible.

Currency: The currency used for the fees is RON (Romanian lei). We gave in the table also the approximate value in EUR, but this is just for orientation (the exchange rate is variable). However, on the secure payment site you can see the value in EUR or USD.

Personal Information: Please note that participation contact details will be saved electronically and will only be used by the Local Organizing Committee. No credit card information will be recorded or stored.

Liabilities and insurances: The Local Organizing Committee does not take the responsibility of force majeure reasons for cancellation of the event (natural disaster, fires, outbreak of epidemic diseases, major strikes etc.). In force majeure cases, The Local Organizing Committee decides on the possible refunds of the congress fees. The conference participants should take care of their own travel, injury and medical insurances before the congress trip. The Local Organizing Committee will not accept liability for damages of any nature sustained by delegates or accompanying persons, or loss of, or damage to their personal property as a result of the conference or related events.

About the University of Bucharest Alumni Association: The association is a legal entity of private law, non-profit, apolitical. Its goal is to keep University graduates in the country and abroad connected with the academic community and to provide human and financial support to the University of Bucharest in its educational activities and scientific research (including the organisation of scientific events). The association was established based on the decision taken in Univeristy of Bucharest Senate meeting on 30.03.2011.
